There was an article on the FP about it, and it's on Chevy's U.S. site.

If it makes you feel any better, we in the U.K. won't be getting any Chevy's at all. Chevy pulled out of the U.K. and I believe Europe also.

They did. And rightfully so. They didn't offer anything worth while. The supposed volume sellers, like the Cruze, were useless. Crappier than an already lackluster Astra, yet priced almost as high. GM was competing with itself.
We'll still be getting the RWD coupes, but they only appeal to a tiny, tiny niche in the market.

So basically they didn't pull out, their offer returned to what it was prior to 2005 (well if you exclude those SUVs and people carriers nobody likes).

Chevrolet became more than an 'exotic' in terms of sales after they suddenly phased out the Daewoo name and replaced it with the Chevrolet badge. Chevrolet in Europe will, as a brand, return to those pre-Daewoo years. You'll still be able to get a Corvette or Camaro, you won't be able to get a Cruze, Orlando, Aveo/Sonic, Captiva or Spark. So nothing of value is lost.
I'm not sure about the RHD markets though.

IIRC it'll be the same for those. Except the non-European ones, of course.

Actually, they're already on dealer lots. I went looking at cars on Christmas day (when dealers were closed), and found 15 0f them in a row behind the showroom, plus one up front.
